– President Buhari has been asked to resign;
– Abdulmumini Jibrin, a member of the House of Representative made this call via his tweeter account on Friday;
– He says Nigeria cannot afford a sort of part time president at this moment
A member of the Nigerian House of Representatives, Abdulmumini Jibrin, who has been on suspension for accusing the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara of budget fraud has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign from office on health grounds.
Hon. Jibrin, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, stated this on his tweeter account. He said the President should let go as so many issues are left attended. “PMB, time to let go: so many issues are left unattended; even small issues that a presidential cough can deal with are left hanging”, he tweeted.
The lawmaker said “PMB should opt for or encouraged to accept a negotiated exit. The country cannot afford a sort of part time president at this time. The president I see on camera needs full home care not office, moderately quiet life, enough rest and quality time with his family. Life and health belongs to God but the more I see pictures of Mr. President, the more I am convinced he needs to go and rest. He needs it!”
